Ice Hockey State Champions
In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, our 18u ice hockey team has clinched the State Championship title, marking back-to-back victories. The thrilling game against St. John Bosco concluded with a final score of 5-3.
Following their state triumph, the team advanced to compete in the USA Hockey National Championships. They dominated the round robin stage, winning all three games, which secured their spot in the semi-finals. In a rematch against St. John Bosco, the team delivered a commanding performance, winning decisively with a score of 6-1, further solidifying their reputation as a powerhouse in high school hockey.
The journey culminated in the National Championship game against Shattuck St. Mary's. In a nail-biting match that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the teams battled to a 2-2 tie at the end of regulation. Unfortunately, the game ended in heartbreak during overtime, where our team fell just short of victory.
Despite the loss, the players and coaching staff are proud of their accomplishments this season. As the team reflects on their achievements, the future looks bright. With a strong foundation and commitment to excellence, they are already gearing up for next season, eager to chase even greater heights.
