Baseball Season Off to an Exciting Start
Our Huskies opened the 2026 baseball season with impressive momentum, earning back-to-back wins this week. The Huskies first secured a 6–3 victory at Avalon behind a strong pitching performance from Liam Becker, who struck out eight over five innings, while Jordan Martinez led the offense with three hits and sparked the scoring with a first-inning triple. Just two days later, the Huskies delivered an explosive offensive performance in a 24–7 win at Brookhurst Park. Luke Butz led the charge with four hits, while Carter Townsend drove in three runs. Fairmont Prep showcased patience at the plate and aggressive base running throughout the game, piling up 14 hits, drawing 19 walks, and stealing an incredible 31 bases. With strong pitching, disciplined hitting, and flawless defense in both games, the Huskies are off to an exciting start to the season.
