Varsity Boys Basketball Captures Championship Title at Jim Harris Invitational
The Varsity Boys Basketball team opened their season with an exceptional performance, going 4–0 to win the championship at the Jim Harris Invitational, held November 17–22. Facing top-level competition throughout the tournament, the Huskies showcased their depth, teamwork, and determination. David Abisogun led the way and earned Tournament MVP honors after a dominant week on both sides of the court. Teammates Jack, Langston Ford, and Jacob Hsu were also recognized for their outstanding play, each earning All-Tournament Team selections. It was a powerful statement to start the season and a proud moment for the program. The momentum continued last weekend when the boys secured a major victory over the Division 1 Los Alamitos champions, defeating them 68–56 in a strong early-season matchup. Next week, the Huskies will test themselves again as they head to the highly competitive St. John Bosco Invitational. Their first game will take place on Tuesday against Palos Verdes, followed by a marquee matchup on Wednesday against undefeated, top-ranked St. John Bosco. The team is embracing the challenge, and Coach Gardner is confident in his players' resilience and readiness to compete at the highest level. With such a strong start to the season, the Huskies are excited to keep building on their success.
