Bio
Alexis Price is a visionary leader in high school athletics whose commitment to excellence and inclusivity has transformed athletic programs and opened doors for student-athletes at every level. In 2025, she was honored as the California Female Athletic Director of the Year by the California Coaches Association—a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding leadership and impact.
A former Division I collegiate athlete, Alexis competed in women’s golf at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, bringing the same competitive drive and team focus to her administrative career. With a Master’s in Sports Administration, she combines deep academic preparation with real-world experience to guide coaches and athletes toward success.
Over a decade of coaching and more than six years as an athletic director have underpinned Alexis’s impressive record of achievement: under her direction, the program has earned over 50 league titles, captured five CIF Southern Section Championships, and achieved historic milestones in both girls and boys golf—earning the first-ever CIF-SS championships in school history for both programs.
Individually, Alexis has been named Girls Golf Coach of the Year in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) from 2019-2023, and Boys Golf Coach of the Year from 2019-2024. Through program development initiatives, she has launched new sports, including boys volleyball (2019), esports (2020), fencing (2024), and girls flag football (2025), expanding opportunities for all students.
Her professional affiliations include membership in the Global Community of Women in High School Sports, the California Coaches Association, and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. She also serves on the CIF-SS Small Schools Advisory Board—ensuring her influence extends beyond her own campus into the broader educational athletics community.
Off the field, Alexis is a proud mom of two young children—Louie (age 3) and Ashton (age 18 months)—and is married to her partner and fellow sports professional, Phillip Lopez. She brings the same energy, empathy, and strategic insight to her home life as she does to her athletic department.
