With nearly two decades of experience leading youth, high school, and elite soccer teams throughout Southern California, Coach Elmer Chacon brings a proven track record of player and team development to the Fairmont Preparatory Academy boys soccer program. His coaching philosophy centers on transforming promising athletes into high-performing players and confident individuals—through rigorous technical training, tactical instruction, physical preparation, and a consistent emphasis on academic achievement. 

At Fairmont Prep, Coach Chacon blends competitive ambition with character-building, guiding athletes as they master the fundamentals of the game, build a competitive mindset, and pursue their academic goals. He also strengthens his impact beyond campus by coaching with Strikers FC Irvine and participating in MLS NEXT level programs.

Coach Chacon’s approach is comprehensive: he works on-field with players to advance their ball control, decision-making, position versatility, and strategic awareness, while off the field he promotes lifestyle habits, sportsmanship, and the importance of strong study habits and time management.

His teams are distinguished by cohesion, leadership at all levels, and a shared culture of excellence—success that has culminated in regional and national championships at both club and high school levels.
