Bio

Shane Beatty brings more than a decade of coaching experience across the club, high school, and collegiate levels, combining championship success with a passion for developing confident, competitive athletes. His coaching journey reflects a lifelong dedication to helping players grow and discover their potential on and off the court.

From 2017–2025, Shane coached club volleyball, highlighted by leading Team Rockstar to the 2018 15U USAV Open National Championship. He has also served as the Head Coach at St. John Bosco High School and contributed to collegiate programs at Holy Names University and Long Beach City College, where he focused on strengthening fundamentals, elevating team culture, and preparing athletes for high-level competition.

Before coaching, Shane built an impressive athletic resume of his own. He competed professionally with the Blizzard Avalanche (2016) and excelled as a collegiate Setter at Hope International University, earning Setter of the Year honors in 2015, and at Grossmont College, where he was named 2011 PCAC Co-Player of the Year and a 2012 All-Conference selection.

Shane’s competitive foundation began long before college. As a member of Seaside Volleyball Club, he won the 2010 USAV Open National Championship and earned Junior Olympics All-Tournament Team recognition. At Granite Hills High School in El Cajon, California, he was a two-time First Team All-Conference volleyball selection and also competed in varsity baseball.

Driven by energy, commitment, and a genuine love for athlete development, Shane continues to pursue his mission: to build strong teams, inspire young players, and contribute to the growth of the sport he loves.
